The UNIVIEW NVR516-64 is a 64-channel network video recorder that supports up to 16 SATA hard drives and offers a variety of features for comprehensive surveillance. It provides IP video input for 64 channels in the NVR516-64 model and 128 channels in the NVR516-128 model. The device accommodates two-way audio input through a single BNC connector and ensures robust network connectivity with incoming and outgoing bandwidths of 384Mbps, supporting up to 128 remote users. 

It is compatible with multiple protocols including P2P, UPnP, NTP, DHCP, and PPPoE. Video and audio output capabilities are extensive, with HDMI/VGA output supporting resolutions up to 4K (3840×2160) at 30Hz for HDMI and 1920x1080p at 60Hz for VGA. The NVR can record at resolutions ranging from 12MP to CIF, and it supports synchronous playback for up to 16 channels.

The NVR516-64 also features corridor mode screen options and a variety of decoding formats such as Ultra 265, H.265, and H.264. Its live view and playback capabilities are robust, supporting multiple high-resolution formats. The hard disk storage is substantial, with each of the 16 SATA interfaces supporting up to 16TB per HDD, although the maximum capacity may vary with environmental temperature. Additional storage interfaces include one eSATA interface and two miniSAS ports.

Smart features of the NVR516-64 include VCA detection by camera with several functionalities like intrusion detection, cross line detection, and auto tracking, among others. It also offers VCA search capabilities, people counting features, and smart intrusion prevention. The disk array supports various RAID configurations to ensure data integrity and redundancy.

For external interfaces, the NVR516-64 is equipped with four RJ-45 network interfaces supporting speeds of 10M/100M/1000M, accommodating a wide range of network infrastructures.
