The Hikvision DS-KD-DIS is a display module for the KD8 Series Pro Modular Door Station, providing status updates on the door or gate station. It alerts the caller with information about the call status, door opening, or recording mode in case of a missed call. Users can select a contact from the resident list to initiate a call.

Designed for the second generation of Hikvision IP intercoms, this module features two RS485 connectors for communication and power supply and must be used in conjunction with the DS-KD8003-IME1 G73652 main module, which is powered by either 12 VDC or PoE (802.3af).

The second generation of Hikvision IP video intercom systems boasts an aesthetic design and high functionality. The modular structure of the door station allows for customization based on installation needs, with a main module that powers additional modules, and the option to add up to eight expansion modules.

The system can be expanded with modular flush and surface frames, available in one, two, or three-module configurations, enabling the creation of both compact and extensive systems. The functional touch screens offer a pleasing aesthetic, operational control, image previews from door stations and IP cameras, intercom connections, and local and remote door opening capabilities through the Hik-Connect app.

Specifications for the DS-KD-DIS include a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, a communication interface with two RS485 ports and one debug port, four physical buttons, an eight-position DIP switch, and a supply voltage of 12 VDC from another module. It has a power consumption of up to 3 watts, an operating humidity range of 10% to 95%, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
