The C-Tec Addressable Heat Detector is a top-tier, programmable device designed for integration with C-TEC's XFP & ZFP 'CAST' protocol Addressable Fire Panels. It boasts certifications from LPCB to EN54-5 & 17 and Kiwa Telefication to EN54-13, ensuring its reliability and quality. Users can configure the detector to function as a Class A1R (rate of rise), Class A2 (64ºC fixed temperature), or Class B (76ºC fixed temperature) heat detector, with Class A2 as the default setting. It features an onboard short circuit loop isolator, two 8mm x 2mm ultra-bright red LED indicating strips for clear visibility, and the ability to select different sensitivities for varying times of the day, accommodating day/night cycles and building occupancy. The detector operates on a 5mA typical alarm current (370uA typical quiescent) at a voltage range of 22-40V DC and includes a programmable multi-function status LED. It is also compatible with C-TEC’s CA408 CAST base, which comes with an integrated locking mechanism and ID tag for enhanced security and identification.
